The perfect lawn?

Nov 2, 2021

I thought I could enter the competition for New Zealand‘s best lawn. Ours was transformed from sticky mud to succulent grass in record time. It needs no mowing, it self fertilised and provides entertainment every morning.

Emma, head mower and herd mother

You can submit up to five photos and have to describe the lawn care regime and how much time you spend on it. Only snag is the prize. What would we do with a mower?

The main thing I do is collect the poo from the midden. The occasional pukeko or rabbit helps with grass control. I think a little photo essay is in order.
