New neighbours

Sep 24, 2021

There are some new cattle in the next door paddock, quite large and not nearly as friendly as the steers that were in there a while ago. Both cats have been interested and sat and watched them

We got some bark, dolomite and spagnum moss for the orchids and I have a big repotting job ahead when they finish flowering.

Yesterday afternoon we made a trip out to the Tutukaka Coast and the wonderful native nursery Tawapou Coastal Natives and finally got a pohutakawa, three kowhai, a big kaka beak and some other treasures. More planting today.
