More feasting

Jul 3, 2022

The garden continues to flourish and produce vegetables in spite of bouts if heavy rain and some voracious bugs that chew huge holes in anything soft and green.

The broccoli is particularly fine at the moment. I made a filo pie filled with steamed broccoli, eggs, cream, a little self raising flour and a hunk of crumbled blue cheese. Delicious!

The cats have busy hunting, baby rats and a middle sized rabbit, sometimes Mr. Brock has to finish them off if they too little to really interest the cats. A young rat has been nesting the hen house so hoping it won’t last long.
