Kereru feeding frenzy

The kereru are loving the puriri tree, landing softly on the neighbouring totara and flopping over quite gracefully.

A stunning sunset last night with so many birds it’s hard to be inside.

Lovage spends most of his life lounging on our bed or lying on his back in the sun. He doesn’t mind helping Sorrel eat rabbits but I doubt if he’s ever caught one himself.
