Flourishing totara

Oct 3, 2021

The totara sure know it is spring time. The new growth is so luscious it looks like flowers.

We went to a very disappointing Plant Market yesterday, mainly expensive house plants, not what I was looking for. So I went to Tikipunga first thing this morning and came home with some treasures. A macadamia tree, yellow guava, bay tree and strawberry plants. It’s supposed to rain tonight and the soil is warm so they should get off to a good start.

Morning Glory thinks she should be allowed inside. She has decided that she really likes carrots now and maybe a bit of carpet wouldn’t go amiss.

Sorrel is very good at taking it easy and encouraging Simon to take a nap too.
