Eggs in odd places

Aug 8, 2022

The hens are now incredibly tame. They come when called and follow me around. I usually let them out around mid day and put them back in their run just before I feed the dogs their dinner.

They now lay two or three eggs a day which is perfect. As long as they lay them in the hen house, not in the digger.

Right!

When it’s raining they have taken to sheltering on the deck. I can see that come summer time we will have to have some strategies for keeping them out of the house.

The beginnings of our office are underway and the hens have enjoyed extra dust baths in the foundations.
