Brocky worked out that a rodent had moved in behind the dishwasher, the cats were completely disinterest although I am sure that Sorrel brought it in. We pulled the dishwasher out and removed the bottom but of the cupboard and after a kit of scrabbling he caught it! Instant kill, no mucking around.

There was torrential rain again in the night, probably good for all the newly planted trees but I am worried my seeds will have been washed away. I scattered a mix of edible flowers and chervil in the rose bed and meadow wild flowers amongst the citrus, also planted rhubarb and a Worcester berry in the orchard. Good progress with planting out the pots but you can see how how it rained, my big bucket is just about full!
