After the two day power outage we realised that our main issue was no water. The small plastic tank which used to be by the abandoned long drop is re-sited to the corner of the orchard above the garage so we now have an emergency water supply in place. The power cut scheduled for today has been delayed which is a relief.
It’s a beautiful still sunny day. The first hollyhock is flowering untroubled by the recent storms.
