It is still incredibly wet and windy. Serious garden planning needed as there has already been a fair amount of storm damage. So evolving plan is to plant closer together, really densely, and stake and tie firmly. I can see that some of the tender new rose branches have been whipped off and the clematis tendrils are not strong enough to cling to their trellis yet. However, after a nasty trip to hospital with kidney stones, I am going to wait until the weather improves before I get stuck in.
