An exciting find

Nov 15, 2021

I came across an amazing cluster of fungi growing out of a dead punga. Mushrooms in a group that are a bit more scattered and irregular ( Simon says ‘ a bit like you’) are said to be gregarious. We identified them as Summer Oyster Mushrooms.

I tried a bit and no adverse effects but haven’t had time to cook them yet. Busy day.

Dogs are always happy to help with the weeding and it was beautiful in the bush. The best place to be on a humid day.

Mr. Brock was 10 yesterday, hard to believe. It seems no time at all since he was a puppy. No singing allowed, we still haven’t managed to restrain his exuberance when anyone sings Happy Birthday and this has resulted in some major accidents involving blood and a lot of broken glasses.
