After a long gap – another bout of Covid, a broken finger and a trip to spend Christmas with family – we are finally settled home again. We came back to find two very broody hens and one has produced six very cute chicks. The other one is still sitting. It has been so wet the little flock spends most of their time doing poos on the deck and looking for tiny crumbs of leftover llama pellets.

The llamas don’t like the storms much either. It has been incredibly wet. The tanks are overflowing and there are puddles everywhere.
