A new asparagus bed

Apr 24, 2022

It is finally sunny enough to get out into the garden again. We have made a special bed for asparagus and managed to find four crowns at the produce market so they are now planted out and should do well over the next few years.

I also planted Florence Fennel which is one of my favourite vegetables.

The tomatoes are all ripped out, some green tomato chutney may be in order.

I am hoping this will be a perfect spot for the bromeliads who have been waiting for a long time.
