A nasty surprise

Mar 17, 2022

I was sorting out some pots for planting bulbs when I discovered a very active nest of paper wasps who did not appreciate being disturbed. Fortunately I have the perfect terminator tool.

A sizzling scene of death and destruction followed shortly.

A few of them flew away and escaped so I will stay out of the way for a bit.

The hens are getting more and more friendly and no longer run away when I open the door.

Sometimes it’s hard to keep writing with a cat on my knee. Lovage looks a bit grumpy but he is purring loudly and very snuggly.
