We have got our kit set hen house. No hens yet as it will need a bit of putting together including post holes as it will be on a slope.

It’s a glorious still sunny day. Too hot to plant, a deep water is needed in some places and new plants need a drink before they wilt. Some things are flourishing with the heat.

The brocciflower are doing really well and taste absolutely delicious. For some reason the green shield bugs only like the leaves. They have been munching heavily on them but left the heads intact. I didn’t find one caterpillar which is a miracle as there are cabbage whites everywhere and they have decimated the cabbages.
