Bread and melon

Feb 11, 2022

I harvested the first melon from the garden today. It was a tiny bit under ripe so I could probably have left it another few days. We enjoyed it with a squeeze of lime juice and a glass of Viognier. Perfect partners.

I have been struggling a bit with my sour dough bread.

It has been very dense. We got some new starter yesterday and I had a big bread making session today

It was delicious, especially the one I filled with olives, anchovies and cheese.
