Neptune and Shadow were keen to investigate my mug of tea before I hopped in the hot tub this morning. If it is really hot at night it holds the temperature quite well and I can have relaxing soak as long as I don’t put my legs down into the cold bit. The rimu provides shelter from light rain and the birds are all out in force. A grand way to start the day.

The llamas haven’t been up for their usual morning visit the last couple of days because it’s been so wet. There are plenty of places for them to shelter out of the wind and rain.

The new plants are really starting to settle in well after the rain. The virburnun, which was looking really limp and droopy Is now in full flower.
