A little salad

Oct 9, 2021

The very first mesclun salad greens have come up strongly. No slugs and snails or other bugS so I’ll be able to add them to a salad over the next few days. Some of the newly planted herbs are doing well and the chervil is just starting to emerge.

The llamas came for breakfast treats and they are starting to enjoy carrot and celery if it’s finely chopped. Clary will give anything a go but she doesn’t really like raw vegetables.

We went to Level 3 last night as there was a Covid case in Whangarei so no markets or music this weekend. I will make a cake! So good the coffee machine is going.
