A range of autumn gifts

May 26, 2022

At last! I’m producing decent bread that makes great toast. Thanks so much for the friendly starter, Megan. And thanks to Patrick for clear instructions.

I found all sorts of interesting fungi near the bush margins. Unfortunately all inedible.

They all smelt disgusting and were very slimy and disintegrated when I tried to pick them.

The basil is doing great, very prolific, almost bug free and only just started flowering. Pesto is on it’s way.
